Dear Parent/Carer

VARNDEAN COLLEGE - ELECTION OF A PARENT GOVERNOR

We have received nomination forms from 3 parents in respect of the Parent Governor vacancy. The ballot paper and candidates' personal statements are included in the linked Ballot Form. Every parent of a full-time student under the age of 19 and enrolled at the College, is eligible to vote.

The voting procedure is as follows:

• Every person eligible may vote for one candidate. Please note that each parent/carer has one vote, regardless of how many children he/she may have enrolled at the college.
• Votes should be made on the following Ballot Form.
• The result of the election will be posted on the College's website after the count and subsequently published in a newsletter to parents/carers.

THE CLOSING DATE AND TIME FOR THE ELECTION PROCESS IS 12 NOON ON FRIDAY 29 NOVEMBER 2024.
