Results Day |
Dear Parents and carers, Please see email below with regards to tomorrow's A Level and Level 3 Vocational results day. I would like to update you with a change that UCAS have announced today for those of you with young people who are waiting to hear about a place in Higher Education tomorrow. Unlike previous years students NO LONGER need to log into UCAS to see if their place is confirmed and will receive an email from UCAS at 8am tomorrow morning. (Thursday 15th). The site will not be updated until 8am, unlike in previous years. We warmly invite everyone to come in to collect results and to celebrate together at 9am. However, results are also available online for those who are not able to come in. (Via MyVarndean from 9am) We are looking forward to seeing family as well as students tomorrow as we know what an important and key support you have been to us. In the meantime I hope that tonight is not nerve wracking and that you all get some sleep, Thank you once for all that you have done for us as a community, Best wishes, Donna-Marie and All Staff Dear All, Just a reminder (as if you needed one!) that tomorrow, Thursday 15th August, is A Level and Level 3 Vocational Results day. For those of you with a UCAS application I received the following information today (full message below): You will receive an email from UCAS at 8am tomorrow informing you if you have met the requirements for your university place. The College careers team is here to support any student from 9am. I know that you might well have a nerve wracking evening tonight but in advance of tomorrow's results, whatever the outcome you should be proud of your achievements. You have been an absolute pleasure to teach and get to know. We warmly invite you in to collect your results on the front field so we can celebrate all you have achieved, friends and family most welcome. In the meantime, let me take this opportunity to wish you all the very best of luck and I hope tomorrow is a good one for you. Best wishes, Donna-Marie and All at Varndean College |
