|Hampshire and Sussex HE Fair|
Students in Year 1 at Varndean College have been invited to attend the Hampshire and Sussex HE Fair on 6th March. This is a UCAS sponsored event that gives students the chance to talk directly to university representatives about the courses they offer and what it is like to study with them. There will be other organisations represented at the exhibition including Student Finance England and Gap Year specialists.
Varndean College have been allocated 200 spaces between 12.30pm and 2.30 pm and an additional 50 spaces between 10.30am and 12.30pm (only for students who do not have morning lessons). Absence will only be authorised from 12-2:30pm and students who have lessons should attend college as normal outside of these times. Students must let their Core Studies tutor know if they are going to attend the event.
Students will be expected to travel independently to and from the Brighton Centre and those in receipt of the Discretionary Learning Grant can see Registry for help with travel & meal costs
For students who know they want to study at HE or for students who are really unsure, this event can provide them with a starting point for further research to help them make the best choice for themselves. Please encourage them to sign up on the link below; 1) Book now 2) join group booking and 3) use the code UCASBKN5051
The ticket will be on their phone. They do not need to print it out, just bring their phone to the fair.
We look forward to seeing them there.
