Dear Parents and Carers,

Please see below a copy of the message sent to students who are leaving us this year. They have been an absolute delight as a group, and we feel so privileged to have had them here at Varndean College during such an important stage of their lives.

I truly believe that the end of students' time with us should be a marked and special occasion, which is why we continue to hold face-to-face results events for all. You are warmly welcome to come along and celebrate too, and we will be on hand to offer support if needed. Please note that results are also available online via MyVarndean. If you are collecting results on behalf of your young person, we will need written permission from them.

For those of you with young people who studied the IB please do join us this coming Sunday, 6th July, from 10am in the West Quad for results and celebrations. All are very welcome.

Results Day for A Level and BTEC students is on Thursday, 14th August, from 9am in the Hall. You are warmly invited to attend.

At both events, there will be pastries and refreshments to mark the occasion. Our team of senior managers and our excellent Careers team will also be on hand to support any students who need guidance or advice on the day.

I would like to take this opportunity to express our sincere gratitude for your support over the past two years. Thank you for entrusting us with your loved one; your warmth, patience, and kindness have meant a great deal to all of us here.

We hope to see you on either the 6th July or the 14th August.

Dear Students,

Most of you reading this will be leaving us this year and beginning new adventures. Thank you for creating such a lovely atmosphere at the leavers' event on Wednesday, what a joyful occasion. The photo booth was a huge success, and I hope you'll treasure both the photos and the memories you've made during your time here.

It has been an absolute pleasure and a delight to get to know you. I know I speak for all the staff at the college when I say that we will miss you deeply. What an inspiring experience it has been to have you study here. The future looks bright for those of us who are older, knowing that it will be shaped by people like you. I always say that Varndean College students are the best, and I am not wrong. You have been a glorious year group, and you will stay in our hearts and minds.

A quick reminder of results days:

• IB students: Results day is this Sunday, 6th July, from 10am in the West Quad. There will be refreshments, pastries and drinks, to celebrate. Family and friends are very welcome to join us. And yes I did mean Sunday!
  
  
• A Level and Level 3 Vocational students: Results day is on Thursday, 14th August. Results will be issued in the Hall from 9am to 11am, with pastries and drinks to mark the occasion. Family and friends are warmly welcome. Results will also be available online via MyVarndean from 9am.
