APPRENTICESHIP FAIR 2024

Thursday 14 March, 11.30am to 1.30pm, Main Hall

Dear Parent / Carer

We now have a list of confirmed visitors for our event next week. We have many companies and Training Providers attending all with the sole purpose of helping our students understand what apprenticeships are, how and when to apply and to help them get an idea of the huge range of opportunities available.

Organisations such as Gatwick Airport, Costain and Brighton & Hove City Council will have many different types of job roles and many that students may not be aware of.By talking to the visitors, they may be surprised at the possibilities open to them.

Please see the list of confirmed organisations below and encourage your young person to attend if they are not sure what route they want to take beyond Varndean, or if they know they do not want to apply to university.

There will also be a lunchtime talk students can sign up for. This is optional. They have been sent a Google Form that allows them to select one talk. The talks will be given by the organisations with the asterisks above. Please encourage them to complete the Google Form I sent them on Monday if they would like to attend any of these.
